Equipment:

Philosophy: I don't buy equipment as a toy to play with. My interest is in taking pictures and working with them.

Digital Cameras:

Fuji S3 professional Nikon compatible digital body. (Nikon lenses above work with this body.) Nikon 18 - 200 mm VR Macro lens, Demb photography bracket, SB800 flash.

Fuji S7000 EVF (electronic view finder)

A Fuji MX2700 2.3 mega pixel with 2 extra 32 meg memory cards and an extra battery.

Electronic Darkroom:

Nikon LS 30 35mm negative and slide scanner

Epson Perfection 636 flat bed scanner

Custom Built AMD 955 Windows 7 PC with 8 gigabytes SDRAM & many terabytes of disk

Epson 2200 Photo Printer

Film Cameras:

Nikon F100 35mm SLR with the Nikon SB 28 flash. For the F100 three Nikon zoom lenses, a 24 - 120mm, 70 - 210mm, and a recently added Nikon electronic VR (vibration reduction) telephone lens, 80 - 400 mm, round out the set.

Film preference right now is Fuji NPH ASA 400portrait print film for most work, and Fuji NHG II, and Fuji NPZ 800 high speed print films for dog shows. I use and like Kodak's Portra ASA400 NC pro film too.

Also have and use 2 Nikon Fs and a Nikon Nikomat in perfect condition. I have them re-built at regular intervals and have a bunch of original Nikon lenses for them including 8mm circular fish-eye, 20mm, 28mm, 35mm, 55mm Micro, 85mm, 105mm, 200mm and 300mm. Small electronic flash. Multiple Photomic meter heads. These days, I always use a Gossen Luna Star F2 digital light meter with the old cameras.
