Cynde Moya

M.L.I.S, PhD

Brilliant, complex, inquisitive, challenging. My partner in life for six years from 1996 to 2002.

I met Cynde many years ago when she was in another relationship. At that time, she impressed me with her quiet intense intelligence. We stayed in touch. After her relationship ended, we continued our communication until the time came when it was appropriate for Cynde to start dating again.

Cynde joined me for dinner on June 13, 1996. (We celebrated that date as our "real" anniversary)

After several months of dating and missing each other when we were apart, we decided to live together.

In 2000, Cynde realized one of her dreams and attained her master's degree in library and information science at the University of Washington.

After achieving her MLIS, she earned a PhD at the The Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco.

She is the founder of its library at  Seattle's  Center for Sex Positive Culture.

This is one of my favorite pictures of us taken last year the the Lifestyles 2001 convention in Las Vegas. (Click on the thumbnail for the large version of the picture)

Below is Cynde picking raspberries in the front yard. To the right is Cynde kneeling in front of the fireplace.
